Good morning everyone. I am trying out a new toy to see if I like it..a new Ipad..It's pretty cool and a lot easier to carry around than my laptop, but very touchy screen.

finding I have to do a lot of backspacing lol. I'm in my sixties and I still love new gadgets..lol..got a stay alert and up to date on things,  especially when you have
Grandchildren..lol. they like when we get new gadgets hey it keeps them coming back if not only to check to see what new things we have. If grandchildren only new just how important they are. That's why every opportunity I get I let them know just how special they are. I call it maken memories. And I
Get to do a little of that this evening..two are visiting this evening.
Sooo everyone who stops by my blog today I just want to say Have a Blessed day..enjoy your crafting day, make something special for someone you

Tip for today

Hi Everyone
Time for a new Tip of the Day!!
This tip is inspired by my love for Strawberries and the need for more storage containers....
I don't know how anyone else in different areas get their strawberries from the super market/grocery
store but here in Ohio where I live we get them in small plastic containers...

These containers work great to put laces and ribbons in. Plus they stack very well!! I use these
to put the laces and ribbons in I use often. And you can see exactually what you need to use.
If you check out my youtube video on my Crafting Room/Happy Place you can see how I use them.

The picture above is a Large storage container I purchased after Christmas for $2.00 to store some
Christmas items..lol..My ribbons and lace won the battle..My Christmas Items are well protected in something different..:)

I really do hope that this tip may inspire you to look around at what you may have right in your home
to use to store you precious supplies to craft with..not to mention being frugal to save for
supplies...

Organizing Tip

Hi Everyone,
Hope everyone is doing well today, plus it's Friday..Yeahhh the week-end..Those ladies
who work all week may be excited today..because they are able to use the week end to catch up
on crafting projects that may be waiting for them..:)
I just thought I would share a few tips on ways I organize my crafting supplies in my Crafting
Room/Happy Place..
With a very very limited income and a very very strict budget an a deep desire to craft..means
thinking of ways to save money all the time..ways to store my supplies and ways to find anything
that I can use for my space and one of these ways is....a spice rack. Now I admit this isn't
very pretty to look at (right now) but I can dress it up and make it pretty later..:)
It works great..I got this at our local Goodwill Store..I have several ways I am using items that I
have in my home..and I will share these with you.
With a very tight budget I would much rather invest in my product than to spend my supply budget
on storage things. We can always alter these  and bling them up to make them pretty...right ladies?

Have a Blessed Day..

Challenge Entry

This is what I call a Paper Plate Message Holder...
I entered this in a challenge over at Nothing But Crafts on FB..A group of ladies
who have a deep passion for crafting and sharing there designs.
This is made with a paper plate and a paper clip used for the hanger..we were
to only decorate the front of the paper plate and decorate the choice of the item we chose
to use for the  hanger. The choice for the hanger were paper clip or clothespin. And O chose
to use a paper clip.

Have a Great Day

Lace Flowers

These lace flowers are not only really pretty, but also fun to make..perfect size for the cover of
a mini journal or even a page layout. I used to make these years ago and attached them to tie backs for draperies.
There are alot of tutorials on Youtube for making these adorable flowers..check them out..think out
the box and create a few..
I think I am going to make a few with much smaller lace..and weave ribbon through it..or how about
some netting..

Have a Blessed day!!

Flower

Years ago I used to make these..then on Youtube I seen a tutorial of someone making these and I said " geeish why am I not making these again ..maybe for the covers of my Mini albums." I just finished this one.
The lace I have had for a few years..I keep all my laces in plastic to keep them free of dust and fresh looking. The bling in the center was an earring of my Mother's. It is probably 35+ years old..
Please enjoy and leave a comment and let me know what you think..

Blessings!!

US & Non-US residents to come join the fun.

Latest ATC Card

Hi Everyone, I wanted to share with you my latest ATC card that I have just finished.
I hope you like it and it also inspires you to get your Creative juices flowing. :)

This is the front of the ATC and I have used a bouquet from a package of stickers I purchased
sometime ago, and also green satin type yard for the bow, bling, and pearl lace I bought at Wal-Mart. The small strip of paper at the bottom is from a paper stack of My Minds Eye.

This is the back of the ATC where you can put a small message.

ATC Card

I created this ATC Card a couple of days ago. These are so much fun to make. The vintage image of the beautiful lady I fussy cut from a very old post card dated 1913. The lace I purchased from Wal-Mart..Actually all the embellishments are from stashes I have gather over time.

It's Been Awhile

Hi Everyone!! It's been awhile sense I have posted on my blog, so I thought I would post an ATC card my youngest Granddaughter made.
I'm not going to go into detail where or what the embellishments are because
I've been using a lot of my scraps up and that is what my Granddaughter used to design her ATC card.

I watch a lot of the YouTube tutorials of different projects you ladies out there create and that is where I came across the ATC card.

I think Sarah did a fabulous job!! She matched her colors very well..the paper is from My Minds Eye called Simply Delightful. The stamp Friends is from Close to My Heart, the life stamp and the dimensional word journey are from Pat Cantans dollar bin. The verse is from a clear sticker the I bought at JoAnn Fabrics.
I'm thinking the ATC card is a great way to get your grandchildren involved in what you are going with paper crafting. On a smaller scale it can teach them layouts..colors..design and the best of all..time spent with the Grandchildren...

Journal

The picture I am posting today is of a Journal I just finished creating.
I used from the paper stack of Black Currant and Street Lace both
of which I really really love to work with.I have a few pictures of the inside of the journal and I will be
posting them tomorrow. This is an ordered gift for a friend of a friends Birthday Day. This is
the third one I have made and sold so that excites me a little. I must
say though if I were making these for a living I would not do well at
making much money. Seems to take me awhile to make these or maybe
I am just slow or very fussy..IDK..lol.I also made a card to go with it.
And as always IF by chance someone stopped by here to look at my items
please leave a comment and I don't mind if it is a negative comment.
Thank You
Be Blessed

To warm inside

When it gets to warm inside to work
on my paper projects, I pack it up and move
it out to the patio area. The black bag you
see on the bench I purchased at Goodwill.
It looked like it had never been used. But now
it is, and it has become my crop bag to
take to my patio..lol..
I am so enjoying my new hobby of paper crafting.
Putting together the memory albums that I make
has become so rewarding. What an awesome way to
preserve memories by putting together
your own ideas and wording and not someone elses.
Thanks for visting my blog..and please leave a comment .

Hi Everyone

It is Sunday afternoon and Getting a little warm here in Ohio. I hope everyone is having a good day. I haven't added any new creations that I have completed lately so I thought I would add one of them.

I am very pleased at how this Mini Memory Album turned out. Most of the journaling tags, and photo mats have been cut out on my eCraft cutting machine. The learning curve was so totally worth every minute. I really do like it. The paper I used was from a paper stack I had purchased three years ago when I totally decided paper crafting was what I really wanted to get into. but for some reason I kept pushing this paper in the back of all other paper lines. I really did like it. Then one day I stared to work on designing a card fold and used one of the sheets..then work cause me to table it for awhile and I forgot about it till a few weeks ago and I pulled out the paper and the card which is exactually what type of mini I enjoy making (Memory Mini Albums) as I like calling them. So I diligently worked on it till I finished it and was pleased with the way it turned out.
Then one day my lovely daughter called me and asked me if I had any of my Memory albums made up cause a friend of hers was having a birthday and she wanted to give her one for her birthday. This one I had just finished. She loved it! as I do hope her friend also loves it and is using it to journal in.
The paper line is g. c. d and is called Loverly  each paper in this stack was double sided (i love working with the double sided paper).. it is linen texture
I do hope you enjoyed viewing this memory mini album..
and as always please if you have a second leave a comment..
Be Blessed Today

It's been a while

These are the newest cards I have created.
This is my take on a Smash Journal.. I call mine Random because that is how I plan on entering
different things it to my journal. I tend to save a lot of paper items. I have little drawing that my grandchildren have draw-en me over the years and I will randomly enter these.  I have a page in my book called No-Nos..it has a pocket where I put
the register receipts from PatCatans and Jo Ann Fabrics..and Hollos..

OWH Fathers Day Cards

I am finally uploading a few cards I have made. I am so excited to be a part of blessing our Heroes in helping them be able to send cards home to their families and friends.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my blog. If you do stop and view my blog please leave a comment. It would be nice to know what others think of my creations..
Most everything is cut out on my eCraft cutter by Craftwell..there was a small learning curve but this die cutting machine works totally great. I do love the fact that you don't have to use a sticky mat.
Look around my blog and also visit my other blog..That
