Here is just a few things I created in 2014...

Way...Way far to long since I have posted..but a lot has been going on...life changing things...retirement...and a move to the country to an older home...(to renovate)  as a retirement project.
But now my Crafting Studio is set up and I am ready to get back into the swing of things again!!! First up dated posting is of my Craft Studio..love it...and i have absolutely no idea where i had all my goodies in our old place...because i came across things I had totally forgotten about!!!
I plan on being in my studio as much as I can...and some may not understand that...it's whatever you enjoy doing..if it is sports...music...writing...cooking...ect give it all you have.... this is my passion...what I enjoy...my way of having quiet time...plus I'm not much for socialising lol lol...but seriously it is my passion and what I enjoy doing..and i do it alone..

My room is mix and match..and not Ikea..but it is comfy and cozy..plus kept the budget down to get supplies that i needed...hugs!!

Time To get Busy

Hi everyone...I think it is time to get busy and start updating my blog. I have neglected is so very much..
and i feel badly for neglecting it!!!!

I have somewhat been distracted from creating projects..but have still been working in my room and a
couple of projects for family...

The first project I have been working on is wedding Invitations for my neice..( that was not easy to do..but was enjoyable) when I say not easy i mean that I worked extra hard at  making sure they were as perfect as I could make them...with out making to many mistakes that would cause extra paper to be purchased. She was depending on me to save her money and I could not let her down...
Here is a picture of the Wedding Invitation...please let me know what you think...

          

The next family project I will be doing is Graduation Invitions
for my Granddaughter.
As soon as I put one together I will upload a picture of the card.

Christmas Card Time

A Friendly Hello to those who follow my blog/blogs..
I haven't posted on my blogs for awhile..it's not that I haven't been crafting..just not crafting as much.
I have made a few Christmas Cards..so I thought I would share them with you..I have made similar cards like these years ago...but not to the extent as these are..back then I didn't consider myself as a paper crafter..just a crafter who liked to make cards to share with family..I have noticed tho with searching on Pinterest and else where there are other crafters who have had the same ideas..:)
Funny how in some areas of crafting our ideas become the same..seems like it would be kinda difficult to put a Patten on a craft now days..(guess that is my little thought for the day) lol
Here is one of the cards..I hope you like it..lol..if not..well..that is ok..

I haven't completed the inside of the cards yet..I like making the inside enjoyable to look at as well as the front..( I have a very difficult time making basic cards) I think I try to get tooooo detailed and it takes me longer to make a card than what I would like it to..I try for a card a day..but it always takes two days..:(..

Hi Crafting Friends

It's been 9 or 10 days sense I have posted anything on either of my blogs..I'm trying to figure out why it is so difficult to keep up on my blogs!!! I love doing my blogs..and I do have a few things to share, it's just getting to it and getting it done. I know I don't have a lot of traffic passing by this blog..but still no excuse for not keeping up on it for the ones who do check it on occasion. And to you I thank you. :)
I so love what I do and I won't bore you with all the details as to why I love what I do..there are a few strong reasons as to why. As with most of us crafters..our rooms seem to be our retreats..a place to escape..escape to releasing our creating ability's, or to use it for therapy, to ponder..to meditate or to  use it for mini vacations..
so anyway here is a project I am working on now..I have got this far with it..and I am not sure what or how i want to finish it..guess I will ponder more..lol..

Project UpDate

Update on my Key-Chain project for the week-end festival. It became a Key-Chain Project failure, two of them got ruined attaching the key ring. Lesson learned ( plan better)..Key rings do not seem to work well at all, so I need to try another method..Back to the drawing board so to speak..Kinda sad here..it takes at least 45 minutes to an hour to do each piece..any ideas out there leave a comment..

Just a quick update

Hi my blogging friends..I just wanted to share a quick update..I haven't been into much of a
crafting mood..for various reasons..
For the next few say I will be working on the Save the Date tags..for my niece's wedding..I hope
by the week end I will have some updated pictures to post of the Tags as well as some key chains I am working on.
Not feeling like crafting has made me feel a little displaced..and slow at crafting..but I have a dead-line for the Tags to be completed so I must get busy at them..
This was a rambling post but I wanted to add something new so I guess rambling will have to do.

New Big Project!!!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to quickly share with you a new project I have recently started.
My niece who is getting Married May 3, 2014 asked me to do her Save the Date Tag and her formal
wedding invitations.Yeahhhh I am so excited along with being a little apprehensive. I so hope and Pray!!   that I can do these for her so that they be perfect for her..I am uploading my first prototype the tag..these are also her colors..
I hope that these will be as she wishes...Elegant but Simple..
