Years ago I used to make these..then on Youtube I seen a tutorial of someone making these and I said " geeish why am I not making these again ..maybe for the covers of my Mini albums." I just finished this one.
The lace I have had for a few years..I keep all my laces in plastic to keep them free of dust and fresh looking. The bling in the center was an earring of my Mother's. It is probably 35+ years old..

Latest ATC Card

Hi Everyone, I wanted to share with you my latest ATC card that I have just finished.
I hope you like it and it also inspires you to get your Creative juices flowing. :)

This is the front of the ATC and I have used a bouquet from a package of stickers I purchased
sometime ago, and also green satin type yard for the bow, bling, and pearl lace I bought at Wal-Mart. The small strip of paper at the bottom is from a paper stack of My Minds Eye.

This is the back of the ATC where you can put a small message.

ATC Card

I created this ATC Card a couple of days ago. These are so much fun to make. The vintage image of the beautiful lady I fussy cut from a very old post card dated 1913. The lace I purchased from Wal-Mart..Actually all the embellishments are from stashes I have gather over time.

It's Been Awhile

Hi Everyone!! It's been awhile sense I have posted on my blog, so I thought I would post an ATC card my youngest Granddaughter made.
I'm not going to go into detail where or what the embellishments are because
I've been using a lot of my scraps up and that is what my Granddaughter used to design her ATC card.

I watch a lot of the YouTube tutorials of different projects you ladies out there create and that is where I came across the ATC card.

I think Sarah did a fabulous job!! She matched her colors very well..the paper is from My Minds Eye called Simply Delightful. The stamp Friends is from Close to My Heart, the life stamp and the dimensional word journey are from Pat Cantans dollar bin. The verse is from a clear sticker the I bought at JoAnn Fabrics.
I'm thinking the ATC card is a great way to get your grandchildren involved in what you are going with paper crafting. On a smaller scale it can teach them layouts..colors..design and the best of all..time spent with the Grandchildren...

Journal

The picture I am posting today is of a Journal I just finished creating.

I used from the paper stack of Black Currant and Street Lace both

of which I really really love to work with.I have a few pictures of the inside of the journal and I will be

posting them tomorrow.This is an ordered gift for a friend of a friends Birthday Day. This is

the third one I have made and sold so that excites me a little. I must

say though if I were making these for a living I would not do well at

making much money. Seems to take me awhile to make these or maybe

I am just slow or very fussy..IDK..lol.I also made a card to go with it.

To warm inside

When it gets to warm inside to work
 on my paper projects, I pack it up and move
it out to the patio area. The black bag you
 see on the bench I purchased at Goodwill.
It looked like it had never been used. But now
it is, and it has become my crop bag to
take to my patio..lol..
I am so enjoying my new hobby of paper crafting.
 Putting together the memory albums that I make
has become so rewarding. What an awesome way to
preserve memories by putting together
your own ideas and wording and not someone elses.

Hi Everyone

It is Sunday afternoon and Getting a little warm here in Ohio. I hope everyone is having a good day. I haven't added any new creations that I have completed lately so I thought I would add one of them.

I am very pleased at how this Mini Memory Album turned out. Most of the journaling tags, and photo mats have been cut out on my eCraft cutting machine. The learning curve was so totally worth every minute. I really do like it. The paper I used was from a paper stack I had purchased three years ago when I totally decided paper crafting was what I really wanted to get into. but for some reason I kept pushing this paper in the back of all other paper lines. I really did like it. Then one day I stared to work on designing a card fold and used one of the sheets..then work cause me to table it for awhile and I forgot about it till a few weeks ago and I pulled out the paper and the card which is exactually what type of mini I enjoy making (Memory Mini Albums) as I like calling them. So I diligently worked on it till I finished it and was pleased with the way it turned out.
Then one day my lovely daughter called me and asked me if I had any of my Memory albums made up cause a friend of hers was having a birthday and she wanted to give her one for her birthday. This one I had just finished. She loved it! as I do hope her friend also loves it and is using it to journal in.
The paper line is g. c. d and is called Loverly  each paper in this stack was double sided (i love working with the double sided paper).. it is linen texture

It's been a while

These are the newest cards I have created.

This is my take on a Smash Journal.. I call mine Random because that is how I plan on entering
different things it to my journal. I tend to save a lot of paper items. I have little drawing that my grandchildren have draw-en me over the years and I will randomly enter these.  I have a page in my book called No-Nos..it has a pocket where I put
the register receipts from PatCatans and Jo Ann Fabrics..and Hollos..

Most everything is cut out on my eCraft cutter by Craftwell..there was a small learning curve but this die cutting machine works totally great. I do love the fact that you don't have to use a sticky mat.

Cards That Bless

I am so excited..this is the first 5 cards of a project I am  so fortunate to be involved in. This line of cards I hope to call Cards That Bless...Sometimes you can be so into what you are doing and wonder where or what is your purpose for it...and That is where I was at for a while. It seemed like so much was falling into place with making mini albums and cards that I wondered where on earth is this going. It seemed like I couldn't get anyone interested in what I was doing....to take advantage of what I could help them do..I know that every ones interest are individual and everyone has individual interest...but I just could not seem to find a partner or anyone to share this with...so I was just about ready to say ok I'm done.there is no one to sit around the table with to scrap with....to enjoy my passion with..then I  just kept praying and asking God, am I being silly in loving this.....am I being silly to think I can share a blessing with someone...Then it happen I got this most needed email and I had my answer..
I know that what we do is a reflection of who we are..and that is my hope for my cards. I want to bless others with my line of cards and I'm not looking to be some big entrepreneur,I don't want to just sell them I want to give them to those who need just a little extra love...I know I have been there and wanted it and needed it...and it never came..so my first bunch of cards will be going out this coming weekend..Thank You Lord for this direction..you showed me I do have a purpose in what you have given me..the ability to create..to love and to share...

Hi everyone!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying this gorgeous weather!! Time to start taking walks..I have to remember to do this because it seems like I get really lost in my thoughts and projects that I am doing and forget to take the time for a break. Breaks are important and I must remember to take them. :)

The card  I am posting today is the first card of ( Cards of Blessings and Wishes )..
Encouraging words and a special little wish is important to give to those you care about. Sometimes time passes by to much with out ever contacting those of Family or Friends... maybe to just to give a little encouraging word into their day. I often think how important it would be to a lonely life to get a beautiful card that made them feel special and remembered. There are many elderly people that have no family and never hear from anyone... they set lost and lonely only living on the past and feeling there is no furture.
At 3:00am one moring I was awaken with this thought..normaly I attempt to follow through with these early morning thoughts only to as the days go by push them in the background of lifes other activites. But this is a repeated one and one I think I better act on...I also am doing a card that I choose to call a ( Memory Card )
A small version of a mini album condenced into a card..

I love making the paper bag mini albums ect..but I tend to get lost in them and add alot of areas to put input into them..thats why I love doing the Memory Cards..plenty of room for journaling a special day and add a picture or two..

Been Awhile

It's been awhile sense I have added to this blog a post or a finished project. I have been working on an envelope mini album for about 2 1/2 weeks and I have finally finished it (YEAH). I have really enjoyed making this envelope mini mainly because of the paper. I used Black Currant stack and Street Lace stack..I love working with the black colors and putting pinks and teals with the blacks...

I won't bore you with every detail of my process in putting this mini together but I do see where I will make changes in the next one I make. I like putting the ribbon and fibers on the binding rings but I am not totally satisfied with the out come of this one..
I added a cross, a heart , and a key...( Jesus has the Key to my Heart)..this will be titled My Promise Journal.
Most of the embellishments were cut out on my Craftwell eCraft cutter (which I am still learning how to use)

These are pics of a Mini Memory Card..I have a mini Memory Album started..I love making these cards...they are small but still have plenty of room for pictures and journaling...

I used 4 envelopes to make this mini.... the sizes of the envelopes are 6x9..and chipboard cover back and front. You can see I made the front and back covers just a little larger than the inside of the mini..
( I find describing the mini albums a little intimidating ....getting the proper terms for understanding)

New Item Added/ new toy

This is my new cutting machine by Craftwell....it's called eCraft....It works really awesome....came with an sd card..it also can be connected to the computer where you can go onto Craftwell website and download hundreds of images all pertaining to scrapbooking....and yes it's very pink....I needed more color in my Scrappin area....:)

My Own Glimmermist

OMG I am soooo excited..I made my own glimmer mist...and it works...

Very simple to make..and there is more than one way to make your own glimmer mist..
 You can  use (if you have) the Folk Art Acrylic Paint..in Bronze..Gold..or Pearl..add the paint to water..(amount of choice)..shake and spray...I made mine up in a small plastic container mixing till the paint was all mixed..and poured a small amount into a small mister bottle..and heat set it..I don't like using the mini mister bottles..

the other method is to use water..liquid ink (reinker)..and perfect pearls Metallic&Perfect Gold..perfect pearls has a biding agent in it
you can use glue (a small amount) as a biding agent...
